Quackos™ Blind Box Collectibles
Concept development, packaging design and illustration arranged on blind boxes, PDQs, and reusable collector bag.

With TattooZoo being an edgier, playful brand, I wanted to develop a concept that took the mystery duck art direction further. The concept behind the Quackos™ blind boxes were inspired by carnival games of chance, with the concept of “hitting your target” being hitting the mystery chase plush (or one of the other many characters featured). I took the original illustration provided by the TattooZoo team and created original illustrations around the Peep character, having the environment incorporated on all sides of the box for a cohesive, fun look that also portrayed the information cleanly and cohesively. The carnival accents are brought into the PDQ as an expansion of the boxes as the rest of the cast interact with the game environment that is both recognizable among all ages and visually impactful with bold colours and copy. The resuable collector bag features the same illustrated accents. The bullseye is featured behind the logo to show that you’ve hit that target, and your prize awaits you.
